The Grenadines - Bequia

A question for you all ..... What is it about Customs? Once again stroppy and jobsworth in St Lucia.

A beautiful island, but somehow lacking the same charm that is found on other islands. We saw a non-active volcano - makes me very glad not to see one that is active!

Andre and Tim swang through the trees, Sam wisely stayed on the ground. We also discovered a reef that is not on the charts, or on the GPS. We got away with just a few scratches on the keel - really lucky.

We left there intending to head for St Vincent, but decided to come to Bequia instead. Now this is what I call a lovely island. Friendly people, clear water - even in the harbour - a good anchorage AND a laundry delivery service!

We are currently in the main port, but plan to move on to a bay in the South of the island tomorrow, after we have taken advantage of the diesel and water delivery services.

Friendship Bay is 7 miles from here, but should offer good shelter and snorkelling.

I will try to add some photos at a later stage, just now we are on a shopping trip, with an unsheduled internet cafe break.
